Sept 2001 – Reaping the Rewards of Success …working from home

Tania-Tapel Promotions from Whitwick in Leicestershire has just picked up the Kitchen Table Award presented by the Work-Life Balance Trust at a key ceremony hosted at the prestigious Savoy Hotel in London on Tuesday 11th September 2001.

Anita Patel from Tania-Tapel Promotions set up the business in October 1995 through the help of the Prince’s Trust. The business specialises in Event Management and Wedding Services for the Asian market throughout the UK, and is one of the leading companies working within this niche market. The award was in recognition for women working from home who have made a success of their lives.

The Work-Life Balance Trust ran a series of worshops discussing a variety of topics throughout the day to help society recognise how important it is to have a balanced lifestyle whether you have a career or are at home raising the children.

The company, Tania-Tapel, has grown considerably over the past few years, working predominantly with Asian clients and every now again with mainstream companies who are trying to promote their products to the Asian community at large.
